2025 Golden Globes: Mindy Kaling Reveals What It’s Really Like Being Friends With Meghan Markle
Mindy Kaling has nothing but love for Meghan Markle’s new show.
Three days after Netflix dropped the trailer for the Duchess of Sussex’s new lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, The Mindy Project creator revealed what it was like to appear in one of the episodes.
“I had had my baby, and I think I was, like, two months postpartum,” Mindy who gave birth to her daughter Anne in February, exclusively told Zuri Hall on Live From E!: Golden Globes while walking the red carpet at the 82nd annual award show on Jan. 5 (see the full list of red carpet arrivals here). “And she texted me and was like, ‘Do you want to be in my show?’ And when you hang out with Meghan, you know the food is gonna be good. And so, it’s just nice to have someone else be cooking for me. And I was like, ‘I’ll come to Montecito and have you cook for me and go to your garden.’ And that’s what we did.”
