Turns out Margaret Qualley isn’t the only one who got the substance.

In fact, the Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood actress—who was nominated at the 2025 Golden Globes for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture alongside Ariana Grande, Felicity Jones, Isabella Rossellini, Selena Gomez and Zoe Saldaña—attended the Jan. 5 event in Los Angeles with a special guest since her husband Jack Antonoff was under the weather. “He’s not here, he’s sick,” Margaret told Variety on the red carpet, per People. “But my dad’s here instead, so that’s nice.”

But it wasn’t the first time her dad Paul Qualley—who shares Margaret and her sister Rainey Qualley with ex Andie MacDowell, who herself is a four-time Golden Globe nominee—had been at the awards show.

“He actually has [attended the Golden Globes] before,” Margaret continued. “I think it’s been, like, 20 years, but he’s here.”
