Aaron Judge Had Historic Offensive Achievement In 2024 Season

The New York Yankees made their first World Series appearance since 2009 after finishing with a record of 94-68 and winning the American League East.

After the heartbreaking loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Yankees experienced another heartbreak as superstar outfielder Juan Soto signed with the New York Mets via free agency.

Although the Yankees lost Soto, they made some key additions including trading for outfielder Cody Bellinger and signing first baseman Paul Goldschmidt to join superstar Aaron Judge next season.

Judge had another great season in 2024 and was recognized for a historic offensive achievement.

According to MLB Network on ‘X,’ Judge was the first qualified player in 20 years to slug over .700 on the season.

Judge has been a monster for the Yankees during the regular season in recent years, but his performance has fallen off once the postseason comes around.

In 2024, Judge played 158 games where he batted .322 with 58 home runs, 144 RBIs, a 10.8 WAR, 1.159 OPS, and a .701 slugging percentage.

The numbers were off the charts for Judge again in 2024 as he had a career-high in RBIs, OPS, walks, WAR, and slugging percentage.

With the addition of veteran sluggers Bellinger and Goldschmidt, the Yankees could be a favorite to win the American League again next season.

The loss of Soto was a big one, but the Yankees seem to have made up for it with their other acquisitions this offseason.

With 27 World Series championships in franchise history, the Yankees are the winningest team in MLB history, and they will seek their 28th title in 2025.
