The Kansas City Chiefs have to be thrilled with how the 2024 NFL season played out as they clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC and will have a first-round bye.

Entering Week 18, the Chiefs have a 15-1 record that some might say is inflated due to some fortuitous late-game situations, but it still doesn’t diminish the fact that they only dropped one game.

Kansas City may not be the same offensive juggernaut it has been in years past, but one could argue the Chiefs are in a better spot than before because of their defense.

There’s also Patrick Mahomes, who remains among the best quarterbacks in the league and finds a way to elevate his game in the postseason.

Mahomes wasn’t asked to do all the heavy lifting on offense, though he still has the ability to take over a game when needed.

Recently, Travis Kelce poked fun at his teammate with a familiar impersonation that drew praise from fans on social media.

“Wait for Travis’ impression of Mahomes at the end,” the NFL wrote on X with a video included.

In the clip, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark reveals she’s a big Mahomes fan, to which Kelce responds with an impression of the quarterback saying, “I’m here.”

Kelce sounds incredibly similar to Kermit the Frog, a character that Mahomes is often compared to.

While Mahomes’ voice is the butt of a lot of jokes, it doesn’t matter much when he’s on the field competing.

Opponents normally don’t find themselves laughing whenever they see him under center.
