The Green Bay Packers don’t have much to play for on Sunday when they take on the Chicago Bears to close out the regular season.
The only thing to be determined is whether they’ll be the sixth or seventh seed in the NFC playoff picture.
The Packers will be looking to wrap up the regular season at 12-5 and recently made three roster moves on Saturday to put themselves in position to do so.
KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson shared on X that the Packers have elevated Omar Brown and Michael Barrett from the practice squad while also placing star cornerback Jaire Alexander on injured reserve.

This will be the third consecutive week Brown will be elevated from the practice squad.
The team is still dealing with a lack of depth at safety due to Evan Williams’ quad injury and Zayne Anderson’s concussion.
Barrett is a rookie from Michigan who will be on the active roster for the first time to provide insurance for Quay Walker’s injury, which will keep him out of the Bears game.
Both could see action if the Packers decide to rest some of their starters late in the game.
They’ll most certainly be scoreboard-watching while the Washington Commanders take on the Dallas Cowboys while they’re playing the Bears.
If Washington wins, the Packers will have nothing to play for and will be locked into the No. 7 seed.
Alexander is presumed to be out for the year after having knee surgery, and his absence will be a tough subplot for the Packers to overcome.
