Bills Make 2 Roster Moves Ahead Of Sunday’s Game

The Buffalo Bills proved they deserve to be among the top Super Bowl contenders throughout the 2024 NFL season as they steamrolled teams en route to a 13-3 record.

The Bills enter their Week 18 matchup against the New England Patriots with nothing left to play for as they already locked up the No. 2 seed in the AFC and will host at least one playoff game.

Buffalo is expected to use its starters against New England, though head coach Sean McDermott will likely pull them early in the game.

Josh Allen and his teammates should be able to put up some points in their limited time on the field, though the question will become whether their backups can do enough to pull out a win.

Given that there are no real stakes, the Bills can afford to give players time to rest.

Ahead of the game, Buffalo announced a couple of roster moves.

Elevated OL Will Clapp and DE Casey Toohill from the practice squad for Sunday’s game at New England. WR Amari Cooper has been downgraded to OUT. He will not travel and has been excused for a personal family matter,” Buffalo Bills PR wrote on X.

Clapp and Toohill could see time once the starters are pulled, while Cooper’s excused absence will open up some targets in the passing game.

There isn’t a lot of intrigue with this game, so the most important thing is for Buffalo to come out of it fully healthy.
