The Green Bay Packers earned an impressive 34-0 victory over the New Orleans Saints in Week 16.
Monday night’s victory punched the Packers’ ticket to the NFC playoffs, the fifth time in six years Green Bay will compete for the Lombardi Trophy.
That wasn’t the only reason the victory was impressive, however.
The Packers made history against the Saints as Green Bay met multiple milestones within the same NFL game.
In Monday’s win, the Packers became the first team to combine the following items in a single outing: earn a 30-point or greater shutout; achieve 400 yards of total offense while holding their opponent to fewer than 200 total offensive yards; record no turnovers, fumbles, sacks allowed, or missed kicks.
The @packers‘ Monday night performance:
30+ point shutout
400+ yards while allowing under 200
0 turnovers
0 fumbles
0 sacks taken
0 missed kicksNo other team in NFL history has done all of that in the same game. pic.twitter.com/xX9g71crQz

The complete victory Green Bay enjoyed would be like pitching a perfect game in baseball, especially with the Packers dominating the game in nearly every phase of the competition.
Nearly everything went right for the Packers on Monday, particularly for running back Josh Jacobs.
Jacobs, the NFL’s fourth-leading rusher, punched in his 13th rushing touchdown of the season, scoring for the sixth consecutive game.

Quarterback Jordan Love also finished without a turnover for the fifth consecutive game as the Packers earned their fourth victory in the past five contests.
The Packers improved their top-10 defensive stats with the shutout, reducing their average points allowed per contest to 19.1 points; that’s the sixth-best performance in the NFL through Week 16.
Despite earning their postseason berth, Green Bay still has plenty to play for against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, including postseason positioning.
