There haven’t been a lot of dazzling performances across the NFL during Week 16 so far, but a few players did stand out in a significant way.
Legendary quarterback Tom Brady, who, of course, is now a color commentator for Fox Sports’ coverage of NFL games, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to give his top three stars from this week’s slate of games.
He named Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor, Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings and Chuba Hubbard of the Carolina Panthers as his top performers from Week 16.
Congratulations to @TomBrady‘s 3 Stars of Week 16 👏

Most of the talk this season as far as star running backs has centered around Saquon Barkley and Derrick Henry, and for good reason, as they have had monstrous campaigns with the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens, respectively.
But Taylor, at least when he’s healthy, remains one of the elite running backs in football.
He has run for 1,129 yards and eight touchdowns in 12 games this season, and in Sunday’s 38-30 win over the Tennessee Titans, he dashed around for 218 yards and three touchdowns on 29 carries.
Jefferson is arguably the best wide receiver in the league, and he has helped the Vikings sail to the brink an an NFC North title with a 13-2 record.
In their victory over the Seattle Seahawks this weekend, Jefferson caught 10 passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns, including this clutch touchdown catch that helped propel his team to a win.

Hubbard has given the woeful Panthers a trickle of hope for the future, and the 25-year-old has 1,195 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns this year.
On Sunday, he ran for 152 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winning score in overtime, to carry his team to victory over the Arizona Cardinals.
