The arrival of star running back Derrick Henry has added a new dimension to the Baltimore Ravens’ offense this season, and while they have struggled a bit lately, they still have to be considered a legitimate threat to the Kansas City Chiefs’ budding dynasty.
He is having a special season with 1,407 rushing yards and a league-high 13 rushing touchdowns through 13 games for the 8-5 Ravens.
Henry seems to have a new hairdo, as he was seen without dreadlocks during a recent practice, and some feel he got rid of his aura by cutting them off.

But some fans feel it doesn’t matter and that this new hairstyle could actually help him.

For the first eight seasons of his career, Henry had been the face of the Tennessee Titans, and in 2019 and 2020, he led the NFL in both rushing yards and rushing touchdowns.
2019 was the year when the Titans unexpectedly reached the AFC Championship Game, and they got there by downing the Ravens, who had gone 14-2 in the regular season, in the divisional round of the playoffs.
That was the year Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson won his first of two regular season MVP awards.
Fans are starting to grow restless for Jackson to finally get over the hump and deliver a third Super Bowl championship to the franchise, and Henry’s presence has taken quite a bit of pressure off of him.
Jackson is having probably the best year of his career so far with 3,290 passing yards, 29 passing touchdowns and just three interceptions through 13 games.
