The Seattle Seahawks enter Week 14 leading the NFC West, but the division is closely bunched together, and thus one unexpected loss could be the difference between doing some damage in the playoffs or watching the postseason at home.
In Week 14, the Seahawks visit the Arizona Cardinals in a game that will carry heavy postseason implications for both teams.
For Seattle, wide receiver D.K. Metcalf (shoulder) and running back Kenneth Walker III (ankle/calf) sat out a recent practice after being limited participants the day before.
However, both reportedly have a good chance of playing in the crucial game.
“Metcalf was DNP last Wednesday and Thursday and played, and Walker could also just be getting more rest,” Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times wrote on X.

Metcalf is having a solid season with 50 catches and 763 receiving yards in 10 games after being named to the Pro Bowl for the second time last year.
Walker, on the other hand, has seen a drop in both his total numbers and his efficiency this season.
One fortunate development for the Seahawks is the rise of Jaxon Smith-Njigba as a major threat at wide receiver. The second-year player leads the team with 70 catches, 829 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns.
He stepped up when Metcalf missed two games several weeks ago, which included a 180-yard, two-touchdown effort in an overtime loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
This will be the second time in two weeks that the Seahawks will face the Cardinals after defeating Kyler Murray and crew on Nov. 24.
