The Detroit Lions won a fun battle with their NFC North rivals on Thursday Night Football, taking down the Green Bay Packers 34-31 thanks to three touchdown passes from Jared Goff and a last-second field goal from Jake Bates to seal the victory.
Goff has had an outstanding season so far and had an honest admission about his play after the game.
The Lions’ quarterback sat down with the TNF panel after the win and talked about his team.
He said that he has grown a ton since joining the team and noted, “Since I’ve gotten here, I feel like I’ve played some pretty good ball. I feel like I’m playing the best ball of my life right now, and I gotta keep going.”

Goff was 32-for-41 for 283 yards and three touchdowns in the win while also throwing his tenth interception on the year, half of which came in his disastrous five-interception performance against the Houston Texans a few weeks back.
Goff has a career-high 72.4% completion percentage and 8.6 yards per attempt.
This offense has reached a new level of efficiency thanks to a brick wall of an offensive line, the league’s best running back tandem, and a collection of outstanding weapons for him to throw to in the passing game.
His name doesn’t come up often when fans discuss the top five or ten quarterbacks in the game, but all Goff does is consistently put up numbers.
At just 30 years old, he has taken the Los Angeles Rams to a Super Bowl and his Lions to an NFC Championship game for just the second time in franchise history.
