Peloton knows how to capture members through its popular exercise bikes, rowing machine, treadmills, high-energy instructors and its Peloton One app (one of CNET’s best workout apps). Now, Peloton has launched the Peloton Strength Plus app, which is available in the United States through iOS devices for a limited-time introductory membership for $1 a month for the first six months. Afterward, it will be $9.99 a month. If you already have an All Access, Guide or Peloton App Plus membership, Strength Plus is available to you at no extra cost. The app comes as Peloton wants to offer more strength training options to members.
The Peloton Strength Plus app will allow members to work out in a gym and access expert-led programs, which will have multi-week and self-paced programs. Along with these programs, users can access a workout generator, which lets them customize workouts based on goals, equipment availability, experience level and more. Each exercise will have audio-based cues and instructional videos so users can easily follow along during their workout.
Additionally, users will be able to keep track of their progress by logging their reps and weights, as well as connecting to their Apple Watch. Whether you’re using barbells, cable machines, kettlebells or dumbbells, Peloton Strength Plus will give you access to a proper strength training program in addition to your favorite Peloton classes. If you’re a Peloton member, you’ll be able to enjoy the app functions and instructors even more as they help you achieve more fitness goals.
