Kyle Shanahan Reveals What He’s Seeing From Caleb Williams

The Chicago Bears’ record might not reflect it, but they’ve played much better lately.

They continue to lose games, but Caleb Williams looks back on track with a new offensive coordinator leading the way.

That’s why Kyle Shanahan praised him ahead of Sunday’s matchup (via Caleb to DJ).

Talking to the media, the San Francisco 49ers head coach gushed about Williams’ talent, adding that he’s probably played the best football of his young career over the past couple of weeks.

Shanahan believes Williams has improved with every start and praised his unique skill set.

It’s been an up-and-down season for the rookie signal-caller, but the talent is quite apparent.

The Bears have had some epic miscues, so it wasn’t surprising that they decided to part ways with head coach Matt Eberflus.

There were also some worrisome reports about Williams’ demeanor and attitude in the locker room during the losing streak, and he’ll have to work on that as he matures and gets settled in the league.

From a talent perspective, the Bears have underperformed mightily this season, but their future seems bright, provided they get the right coach to develop Williams.
