Try to keep track of it all.

Moose Jaw Warriors forward and Winnipeg Jets prospect Brayden Yager was traded along with goalie Jackson Unger to the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for forward Landon Ward, goalie Brady Smith, defenceman Colt Carter and six draft picks, the teams announced on Monday.

The picks include two first-rounders (2025, 2028), a second-rounder (2028), a third-rounder (2025) and fourth- and fifth-rounders (2026).

Yager has 30 points (11 goals, 19 assists) in 21 games with the Warriors this season. He was named to the Team Canada training camp roster on Monday ahead of the world junior hockey championship after posting five points in five games last year.

In August, Yager’s NHL rights were traded from the Pittsburgh Penguins to the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for fellow prospect Rutger McGroarty.

The 19-year-old Saskatoon native was selected 14th overall by the Penguins in the 2023 draft.

Moose Jaw sits 10th in the WHL’s 11-team Western Conference with a 6-15-2-2 record. At seventh in the conference, Lethbridge (12-10-1-1) is in the hunt for a playoff spot.
