The Jacksonville Jaguars appear to be investing in the offensive line.
Starting left tackle Walker Little has reportedly agreed to a three-year, $45 million extension with the team Sunday, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Schefter also reported that the deal includes $26 million guaranteed and runs through the 2027 season.
Little, a 2021 second-round pick out of Stanford, has appeared in 51 games in his three-plus seasons, starting 21. The tackle began the year as a backup to Cam Robinson and took over starting duties after Robinson was dealt to Minnesota on Oct. 30.
The 25-year-old Little represents the third member of Jacksonville’s 2021 draft class to receive a big payday, following quarterback Trevor Lawrence (five years, $275 million) and cornerback Tyson Campbell (four years, $76.5 million).
The deal comes just hours before the Jaguars host the division-rival Houston Texans.
