Chrissy Teigen is allowing herself space to grow.
The mother of four recently responded to a commenter asking her to share more about her and husband John Legend’s 6-year-old son Miles’ Type 1 diabetes diagnosis.
“As a mom with such a large following, would you consider sharing more about Type 1?” the commenter wrote on Teigen’s Nov. 23 post. “At least a bit to raise awareness ? Sincerely, a fellow T1 mom.”
The cookbook author replied, “I definitely plan to! We are still learning over here ourselves!”
Teigen and Legend, who are also parents to daughters Luna, 8, and Esti, 22 months, and son Wren, 17 months, previously shared Miles’ diagnosis back in July.
“A couple weeks ago, our Miles was sick in the hospital with a terrible case of shigella, an intestinal infection caused by bacteria in food or water,” the former swimsuit model wrote in a July 31 Instagram post. “A lot of his friends were also sick with it, as they went to the same camp and well, it happens!”
