When they’re at their best, the Baltimore Ravens look like the absolute best team in the entire National Football League.

They’ve had some late-game blunders and head-scratching losses, but they’ve been an utterly dominant team for the most part.

That was on full display on Monday night during the Harbaugh Bowl.

Lamar Jackson was at his best again; playing on Monday Night Football suits him perfectly.

As Ari Meirov pointed out on X, Jackson has been on a roll in nine career games on MNF.

He’s completed 165 of 239 passes for 1,949 passing yards, 696 rushing yards, 24 touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Jackson’s talents have never been in doubt.

There’s a reason why he’s won two MVPs already, and some believe he’s got a strong case to win his third this season.

Unfortunately, as much as he’s dominated NFC teams and primetime games, something seems to always hold him back when the playoffs hit.

He will need to do a lot of work to turn the narrative around, as he fell short again last season.

People expect great things from Jackson because they’ve seen him do it repeatedly in the regular season, plenty of times against the best teams in the league.

The Ravens are still in the mix to have the top spot in the AFC North, and while the No. 1 seed in the conference might be out of reach, they should still be one of the clear-cut favorites to go the distance this season.

That, assuming Jackson plays like he can.
