The New York Jets are about as dysfunctional as any franchise in professional sports at the moment, as they can’t seem to get on track nor make the right moves on a consistent basis in order to create a winning team.

After firing head coach Robert Saleh earlier in the season, Jets brass has now parted with general manager Joe Douglas, setting up what will be an interesting offseason in New York, filled with speculation about what the team will do from here.

Apparently, complicating things even further, owner Woody Johnson has brought in someone he once fired as their general manager to help find their new general manager.

As part of an agreement with The 33rd Team, the Jets are getting help from Mike Tannenbaum in the search for a new head coach or general manager, according to Bleacher Report.

At this point, there’s no telling who would be willing to take on all that comes with being the head coach and general manager of the dysfunctional Jets franchise, especially with all the questions surrounding Aaron Rodgers’ future.

Only time will tell what the Jets end up doing, but there are bound to be more developments that leave fans and the media shaking their heads over the direction the team is headed.
