The Los Angeles Lakers are currently holding onto the third seed in the West and have a 9-4 record.

That is better than some fans expected but the Lakers aren’t content and want to get better.

They wish to build upon their roster, especially in the frontcourt.

Speaking on Pat McAfee’s show, Shams Charaina reported, via NBACentral, that the Lakers are “actively” looking for a big man.

This makes total sense and it could really improve the team, but what sort of luck will they have finding their perfect candidate?

The Lakers rise and fall based on how well Anthony Davis is playing.

Thankfully for them, he has been MVP-worthy so far this year and their big man is clearly tuned in.

But the Lakers need more than just Davis and they require multiple big stars to help him out.

Jaxson Hayes is hurt, along with Christian Wood.

As for Davis, he is currently healthy but if he did get injured or needed time off, the Lakers would be completely decimated.

Fans have pleaded with the Lakers to seek big man help for years but the front office hasn’t made many big moves.

That could change soon because LA knows they are doing better than expected and want to build on that, especially since LeBron James is getting close to retirement.

They have supposedly had their eyes on a few stars throughout the league, including Jonas Valanciunas.

Any deal will require the Lakers to ship away a few contracts and possibly some players too.

Are they ready to make those moves for the greater good?
