Things are not looking good for the Philadelphia 76ers and they currently hold a weak 2-11 record, which means they are at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings.
That’s shocking considering they have two amazing stars leading the way: Joel Embiid and Paul George.
Speaking of those two, they aren’t doing nearly as well together as fans had hoped.
According to Evan Sidery, the Sixers are scoring only 83.3 points per 100 possessions when Embiid and George are on the court together, which is the worst of any duo in the league.
If the team is going to rebound and build up on their anemic record, these two need to find their rhythm as soon as possible.

Both Embiid and George have had a tough season so far.
They were injured when 2024-25 kicked off and are only now finally able to play.
But there have been signs that both players still aren’t 100% and they have very limited time together.
That should hopefully change soon as they continue to get healthier and play more games.
The season is still young but the Sixers have an awfully big hole to dig out of.
It’ll require a lot of consistency and a lot of health.
It’ll also require that Embiid and George work like magic together and become one of the best duos in the NBA.
They are very impressive basketball stars individually but they just haven’t clicked as a unit, at least not yet.
There is still time for Embiid, George, and the Sixers but the clock is starting to tick louder and louder after a truly horrible start to the season.
