Coming into Week 11, the New York Giants have lost five straight and are looking like a team that is more interested in what draft pick they’ll have in the 2025 NFL Draft rather than how the rest of the regular season will pan out.

The one glaring need for the Giants moving forward is a change at the quarterback position, as it has become increasingly apparent that veteran Daniel Jones is not the answer the team is looking for under center.

There’s no question that if the Giants get one of the higher picks in the first round of next year’s draft, they’ll be targeting a quarterback, which is probably why general manager Joe Schoen was at Saturday’s game between the Colorado Buffaloes and Utah Utes so that he can get a look at Shedeur Sanders.

Ironically enough, during pregame warm-ups for both teams in Boulder, Colorado, a fan could be heard yelling at Schoen to get rid of Jones via Tom Fornelli of CBS Sports.

At this point in time, the Giants will likely limp to the finish line this season with little to no hope of making the NFL playoffs, nor would that help the franchise in any way, considering they so desperately need an upgrade at the quarterback position.

Only time will tell how things will pan out for the Giants and if they’ll be able to land a young and talented quarterback in the draft that can help this storied franchise get back on track as a force to be reckoned with in the NFC.
