James Harden of the Los Angeles Clippers has done a lot during his 15 seasons in the NBA and he’s incredibly close to another massive career milestone.

According to Legion Hoops, Harden is just four three-pointers away from passing Ray Allen for second in all-time made threes.

With Harden playing his former team, the Houston Rockets, on Friday night, will Harden be able to move past Allen?

Allen made 2,973 threes during his career and Harden sat at 2,970 on Friday morning.

Of course, above all of them is Stephen Curry with 3,779.

Harden has been making 2.5 three-pointers per game on 8.0 attempts so there is a chance that he could pass Allen during Friday’s game.

For the season, he is producing 20.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 8.8 assists.

The Clippers sit in the ninth spot in the West right now with a 6-6 record.

They just lost to the Rockets the other night but they are hoping things are different for their first NBA Cup game.

Following the Rockets, the Clippers will play the Utah Jazz, Golden State Warriors, and Orlando Magic.

It’ll be a very busy week for the team and Harden will likely become the second-best three-point star of all time during that period.

Even though Harden will soon pass Allen, he still hasn’t achieved all of his NBA goals.

Most notably, Harden has never won a championship and it’s been years since he was in the Finals.

Fans aren’t sure what’s next for the Clippers after a very busy offseason, injuries, and an increasingly strong Western Conference.

Harden will make history soon but that doesn’t guarantee a lot of success for the Clippers.
