Ben Foster and Laura Prepon are parting ways.
The X-Men: The Last Stand star filed for divorce from the Orange Is the New Black alum after six years of marriage citing irreconcilable differences, according to court documents obtained by People. He listed their date of separation as Sept. 9, 2023.
In the docs, Foster also requested to have the couple’s prenuptial agreement upheld, as well as to have their assets and debts divided equally, per the filing. Additionally, he asked that he and Prepon be responsible for their own legal fees and divide court expenses equally.
E! News has reached out to reps for Foster and Prepon for comment but has not heard back.
The pair, both 44, were first linked in 2016 and were confirmed to be engaged months later. After welcoming their daughter Ella the following year, they exchanged vows in 2018, which the That ‘70s Show star celebrated on social media at the time.
“Just Married,” she wrote in an Instagram post alongside what appeared to be a photo from their wedding. “Thank you for all the love and support. Wishing all of us the good stuff!”
