Coming into the 2024 NFL season, the San Francisco 49ers winning the NFC West division title once again seemed to be a foregone conclusion, as they had the best collection of talent on both sides of the football while being led by elite head coach Kyle Shanahan.
However, things have not gone according to plan for the 49ers so far this season, with San Francisco dealing with several injuries over the course of the regular season and unable to reclaim its form as one of the best all-around teams in the league.
Along with the 49ers struggling, sporting a 5-4 record after Week 10’s win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the rest of the division has been hanging tough, with the Arizona Cardinals (6-4) unexpectedly sitting atop the division standings and the Los Angeles Rams (4-4) and Seattle Seahawks (4-5) still in the mix.
The NFC West has gone from having a predictable outcome to being one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL, but former Rams star Andrew Whitworth is convinced his old team will come out on top when it is all said and done via Up & Adams.
“I’m going to go, the Los Angeles Rams,” Whitworth said. “Come on! We’ve got our offensive line back. The boys are coming back. All they got to do is take care of business tonight and we’re going to get on a roll. That’s what I believe.”

Anything can happen in the second half of the season, especially in a division as unpredictable as the NFC West, so it’ll be interesting to see which of these four teams ends up on top at the end of the regular season.
The Rams definitely have a shot, but so do the three other teams, making this race for the division title a compelling one.
