The Baltimore Ravens have the look of a Super Bowl contender as they’ve been able to pull off several tough victories this season.
The Ravens are coming off another impressive win, this time against the Cincinnati Bengals in what ended up being a shootout on “Thursday Night Football.”
Baltimore held off Cincinnati 35-34 in a thrilling matchup between two AFC North playoff hopefuls who know each other well.
The Ravens offense has been one of the best in the league, and it starts with quarterback Lamar Jackson, who is somehow having an even better season compared to last year, when he won NFL MVP.
Jackson has shown real improvement as a passer but also remains a threat to keep the ball and run for chunk plays.
In fact, Jackson’s projected stats suggest he’s headed for another special season and potentially another MVP award.
“Lamar Jackson is on pace for a historic season: 4,537 passing yards, 69.4% completion percentage, 41 passing touchdowns, 3 interceptions, 915 rushing yards, 4 rushing touchdowns,” Dov Kleiman wrote on X.

The addition of Derrick Henry has made the Ravens’ running game more dangerous than ever before, and it has also allowed Jackson to carve up defenses through the air.
Opponents have to account for the running attack, so offensive coordinator Todd Monken has done well to take advantage of that and dial up the passing game.
If Jackson keeps up his pace, it’ll be hard to deny him his third MVP award, though the main goal in Baltimore remains a Super Bowl championship.
