Now that quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is back in action, if the Miami Dolphins are going to have any chance at making the playoffs, they will have to start stringing together wins right away, starting when they visit the Los Angeles Rams on “Monday Night Football.”

They have had a long list of players dealing with injury lately, and unfortunately, their biggest offensive weapon wasn’t able to participate in a recent practice.

Star wide receiver Tyreek Hill is reportedly dealing with a wrist injury, via Around the NFL, and one has to expect that the fact he sat out practice means his status for the game is up in the air.

Hill had an incredible 2023 season, on pace to become the first NFL player to post 2,000 receiving yards until an ankle injury slowed him down late in the schedule.

He is having a down year this time around with just 446 yards and one touchdown on 34 catches through eight games.

Tagovailoa missed four games due to the third diagnosed concussion of his career, which he suffered in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills, and as expected, Miami’s offense took a nosedive.

In each of the four games he missed, they failed to score more than 15 points, and they lost three of those contests.

But since he returned, they have scored 27 points in each of the two games, although they lost both.

The good news is that the Dolphins appear to have a relatively manageable schedule the rest of the way, and with the offensive talent they possess, perhaps they can give themselves a shot at claiming a wild-card playoff spot.
