The Best Early Black Friday Kitchen and Cookware Deals

My neighbor’s Home Depot skeleton is still on the lawn, and the early Black Friday sales are already rolling out. None of this is surprising, of course, given how much annual sales seem to transcend space and time these days. The Devil works hard, but Amazon Prime Day and its many reincarnations work harder.

I am also not immune, however, to the charms of a discount on this spoon-spatula hybrid, or a sale on a 4-quart fryer that could cook me several generations of chickens in minutes. Countertop appliances, cookware, and tablescape essentials can be expensive investments, and I’ll take any opportunity to better outfit my kitchen on a budget — especially before the holidays get under way (a deal on a pie dish is much appreciated before Thanksgiving).

Whether you’re shopping for yourself, upcoming holiday feasts, or making your way through your gifting roster, these are the best early Black Friday deals for getting a leg up on the season without blowing all of your fun money. I found carving sets at All-Clad, and Keurig coffee maker deals for your visiting, under-caffeinated in-laws; there are deals on Le Creuset Dutch ovens, KitchenAid stand mixers, and plenty of sparkling glassware sales to go around.

Let’s tuck in.

At a glance:

The best early Black Friday deals on pots and pans

| Le Creuset

Le Creuset signature round wide oven

Prices taken at time of publishing.

We’re in the heart of soup season, folks. And as Stephanie Ganz writes in this breakdown of the best Dutch ovens, “Le Creuset makes the gold standard.” The ridges on the lid allow for condensation points to form that create what Ganz calls a “self-basting effect,” and the brand’s Signature Round Wide Oven offers even more width and surface area (it’s just under one foot in diameter), which is ideal for browning.

two yellow frying pans.

| Caraway

Caraway fry pan duo

Prices taken at time of publishing.

Caraway’s nonstick skillets are made without PTFE (think, Teflon®), PFAs, nickel, lead, cadmium, and other potentially harmful materials that have no business rubbing shoulders with your food. The Instagrammy brand is offering 20 percent off this 10.5- and 8-inch nonstick skillet duo, which sure would make a nice gift for a first time renter.

| Food52

Staub x Food52 enameled cast-iron 10-inch frying pan

Prices taken at time of publishing.

Staub teamed up with Food52 on this enameled cast-iron fry pan, which can withstand oven temperatures of up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and boasts a slightly rough inside texture for better searing and browning. Also handy: the little pouring spouts on either side.

The best early Black Friday deals on small appliances

black air fryer.

| Cosori

Cosori 4-quart air fryer

Prices taken at time of publishing.

If you have yet to explore the power of air fryers, this 4-quart Cosori is a great place to start and end your journey into the world of convection “fried” foods. A favorite of Eater’s special projects director Lesely Suter, Cosori air fryers are absolute workhorses that, in her words, “produce flaky scallion pancakes, perfectly charred broccoli, and [is] big enough to fit a whole chicken.”

red standing mixer on a countertop.

| KitchenAid

KitchenAid 5-quart standing mixer

Prices taken at time of publishing.

Is there a more iconic stand mixer for countertop clout than a KitchenAid? This 5-quart tilt head option comes in the brand’s classic candy apple red colorway, and is equipped with a 5-quart bowl and a 3-quart bowl, as well as more than 10 attachments for kneading, whipping, blending, and more.

| Rocco

Rocco smart wine fridge

Prices taken at time of publishing.

Do I need a luxury wine fridge that looks like it belongs in the MoMA Design Store? Probably not. But how nice would it be to take home Rocco’s super smart wine fridge for over $250 dollars off? It’s ultra quiet thanks to its high-end compressor, and can house 27 bottles of Bordeaux — or, you know, 88 cans of La Croix — behind its chic, 1970s-esque rippled glass door.

The best early Black Friday deals on coffee makers and accessories

coffee maker with a blue cup.

| Keurig

Keurig single-serve pod coffee maker

Prices taken at time of publishing.

Coffee drinkers are often divided on the subject of single-serve pod coffee machines, but wow can they come in handy — especially if you’re hosting someone in your own home. Many Christmases have come and gone where I am stuck in a Sisyphean grind of making fresh pots of French press coffee for my sister’s in-laws (love y’all) when I could have just kindly directed them to the one-button bliss of a Keurig coffee pod machine.

black electric gooseneck kettle with a wood handle.

| SSENSE

Fellow Stagg EKG electric kettle

Prices taken at time of publishing.

Pour-over coffee lovers gravitate towards gooseneck kettles for better, slower pouring control and a deeper, fuller-bodied bloom. But Fellow’s gooseneck kettle in particular has achieved a covetable, nonchalant cool factor for coffee-lovers (as well as a place on the digital shelves of avant-garde fashion sites such as SSENSE). This handsome walnut handle colorway is on sale right now, as is the brand’s Black Ode brew grinder.

The best early Black Friday deals on tableware

light pink glasses on a counter.

| West Elm

West Elm fluted acrylic drinking glasses

Prices taken at time of publishing.

I am always keeping an eye out for hearty, unbreakable glassware that my wonderful, albeit animated friends and nephews will not be able to break by the pool, at dinner parties, during movie nights — you name it. These fluted acrylic glasses were created by the ever-chic designer Aaron Probyn for West Elm, and they look three times more expensive than they actually are.

white ceramic dinnerware set on a table.

| CB2

CB2 Contact 4-piece white dinnerware set

Prices taken at time of publishing.

You can’t go wrong with new bone China (porcelain made sans animal products) and a high-gloss glaze. CB2’s white dinnerware set comes complete with soup bowls, too, so you can feel fully equipped to host a multi-course meal.

The best early Black Friday deals on knives and utensils

carving knife and fork next to a turkey on a marble counter.

| All-Clad

All-Clad forged knives carving set

Prices taken at time of publishing.

This 8-inch knife and 6-inch carving fork duo from All-Clad is a must-have tool set for hosts who love to roast. At $90 off, it’s also one of the best deals on our list — and one that sure would be handy to have before Thanksgiving.

stainless steel cooking utensils in a jar.

| Sur La Table

Viking 8-piece stainless steel utensil set

Prices taken at time of publishing.

This stainless steel utensil bundle from Viking is over $140 off, and includes a slotted spoon, pasta fork, ladle, spoon, spatula, slotted spatula, meat fork and skimmer (all polished to a mirror-worthy shine). It’s The Avengers of utensil sets.

| Misen

Misen steak knives

Prices taken at time of publishing.

You can get 30 percent off Misen’s chic, color-popping steak knife set — which includes 30 serrations per blade for a clean, effortless cut — with the code FINALCUT.

The best early Black Friday deals on kitchen vacuums

small handheld vacuum on a kitchen counter by containers.

| Shark

Shark handheld vacuum

Prices taken at time of publishing.

I am a devout believer in the power of a little kitchen vacuum for keeping messes and crumbs at bay. Shark’s handheld vacuum is far easier to whip out than a hefty standing vacuum, and it actually looks pretty sleek in its standing dock.

purple cordless vacuum and accessories.

| Onseen

Onseen cordless self-standing vacuum

Prices taken at time of publishing.

I didn’t come here to bully Dyson, but I do think that the brand is a little overhyped when it comes to vacuums. There are, quite simply, other options out there with great ratings, a lightweight design, and a much more accessible price tag. The Onseen self-standing vacuum, for example, has powerful suction for hardwood floors and carpets alike, as well as a 180 degree swivel function that helps you reach even the most frustrating of corners.
