However, the 43-year-old isn’t quite ready to share details regarding what specifically led to her and Edwin’s sudden split.
“Being somebody who recaps other people’s things, ‘Don’t be a hypocrite, Teddi,’” she said, addressing curious fans who want the full story. “But when it does come to this and children, I think there’s just room. It’s a little bit different than getting into ‘Jen Aydin reveals text exchange with Andy Cohen.’”
Teddi’s comments about the former couple’s breakup comes several days after she first announced the split Nov. 2 on Instagram.
“After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,” she wrote. “My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter.”
“Making a public statement is not something I wanted to do,” she added, “but in an effort to protect my family from undue speculation and rumors, I felt being open, honest and vulnerable was the best path forward.”
While Edwin has yet to publicly comment on the split, he did allude to getting through “dark days” in a recent cryptic Instagram Story.
