The Cincinnati Bengals came into the 2024 NFL season with high hopes of reclaiming their form as a legitimate Super Bowl title contender in the AFC, with superstar quarterback Joe Burrow finally healthy and motivated to right the ship for this team.

Unfortunately, things haven’t gone as planned for the Bengals this season, as they stumbled right out of the gate with a loss at home to the New England Patriots and some poor defensive performances during the first half of the regular season.

Although the team hasn’t lived up to expectations up to this point in the season, Burrow has been as advertised, as he’s played well and has kept the offense firing on all cylinders more often than not.

However, Burrow can’t do it all by himself, which is why the team sits with a 4-5 record after nine games, as they were able to come out on top on Sunday, getting their first win at home this season at the expense of the Las Vegas Raiders.

In the win over the Raiders at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Burrow put on a show, throwing for 251 yards, five touchdowns and one interception.

Burrow has thrown for five touchdowns in a game twice this season, which is impressive since only one other player in the league has been able to do that this season, and they did it only once via NFL on CBS.

The other quarterback to throw for five touchdowns in a game this season was reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens.

Ironically enough, the other game that Burrow pulled off this feat was against the Ravens.
