The Milwaukee Bucks have a lot on their plate right now.

They haven’t gotten off to a strong start to the NBA season, and they haven’t made the news for the best reasons recently.

Notably, that continued on Friday when Republican candidate Donald Trump made a rather odd remark about himself and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

During his latest speech in Milwaukee, the former President raved about the Fiserv Forum — where the rally was hosted.

Then, he claimed that “the Greek” was a very good player and was supposed to be a very good guy too.

Then, he questioned who between him and Giannis has more ‘Greek’ in them (via Eurohoops & NBA Central).

Giannis, who was born to Nigerian parents, was also born and raised in Athens.

He spent his entire life in Greece before making the move to the U.S., and he proudly represents them at the FIBA level as well, so he’s, by all accounts, 100% Greek.

On a basketball-related note, the Bucks are currently 1-4 and haven’t looked like the perennial championship-caliber team they’ve been for the better part of the 2020s.

Antetokounpmo continues to excel and dominate on both ends of the floor, but other than Damian Lillard, he’s not getting a lot of help from his supporting cast, and Doc Rivers’ job could be in danger if he doesn’t turn things around soon.
