Right now, the Detroit Lions are considered by many to be the best team in the NFC, and they hold the best record in the conference at 6-1.

Quarterback Jared Goff is playing at a high level, Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery are a dynamite running back duo and the team leads the NFL in points and rushing touchdowns.

However, former star wide receiver and current Fox Sports 1 analyst Keyshawn Johnson seems to feel that planning a championship parade in Detroit is premature, as he’s concerned about head coach Dan Campbell and his decision-making.

Johnson referenced Campbell’s decision-making on fourth-downs, something that contributed to Detroit’s loss in last season’s NFC Championship Game to the San Francisco 49ers.

Campbell, who is in his fourth season as their head coach, is credited with transforming them from a perennially struggling team to one that seems to be a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

They have an impressive cast of players, especially on offense, and their defense has been much better this season after they were 23rd in points allowed and 19th in total yards given up last season.

However, star defensive end Aidan Hutchinson is out with a broken fibula and tibia, and therefore the Lions will need to do something in order to get enough pressure on opposing quarterbacks to stay on track with their goal of winning it all.

Hutchinson had 7.5 sacks, 17 quarterback hits and seven tackles for loss in five games this season, but none of his teammates have as many as three sacks on the season.
