The Denver Broncos always had their sights set on Bo Nix.
The rookie out of Oregon seemed to be a perfect fit for Sean Payton’s offense.
And even if some fans and scouts weren’t as high on him, given his well-known struggles in college, he did come with a lot of experience, which gave him an edge over some of his peers.
Nix wasn’t that impressive out of the gate.
However, it seems like he’s finally hitting his stride.
As pointed out by Zac Stevens on X, he’s thrived in his past four games, logging 870 passing yards, nine total touchdowns (seven passing, two rushing), and just one interception.
He’s got a 102.7 passer rating and is completing 66.7% of his passes.

66.7% completion
7 passing TDs
1 INT

2 rushing TDs— Zac Stevens (@ZacStevensDNVR) October 30, 2024
Notably, the Broncos have gone 3-1 over that span, with their only loss being a one-score setback vs. a divisional rival, the Los Angeles Chargers.
Things will get more complicated for Nix and the Broncos in the next couple of weeks.
They have the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, and Atlanta Falcons up next before a rematch with the Las Vegas Raiders.
They’re currently sitting on a 5-3 record and the second spot in the AFC West, but that stretch could be a legitimate barometer to determine where they truly are right now.
Nix didn’t have the sky-high ceiling of other prospects like Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, or Drake Maye, but he is performing well.
