Halloween is just two days away, and it will be interesting to see how pro athletes celebrate the holiday and which costumes they decide to wear.

Minnesota Timberwolves Rudy Gobert can be quite a character, and he decided to play on the theme of his team by wearing a wolf mask.

That mask has gone viral on social media.

Gobert is in his third season with the Timberwolves after a big trade sent him there in the summer of 2022.

He spent his first nine seasons with the Utah Jazz, and the Jazz collected five players and five first-round draft picks in that 2022 trade with Minnesota.

Minnesota was criticized for sending out so much draft capital for a player who some say is one-dimensional and offensively challenged, not to mention someone who can be played off the court during the playoffs.

But the team reached the Western Conference Finals last season, which led to some big expectations for this season.

In three games this year, Gobert is averaging 10.3 points, 12.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocked shots a game, and his Timberwolves are 2-1 and have won their last two games.

They made a big trade at the end of the summer by sending All-Star big man Karl-Anthony Towns to the New York Knicks for Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo, and while DiVincenzo has been struggling with his shooting, Randle has been playing well to start this season.

With all the parity in the West, however, it will not be easy for the Timberwolves to return to the Western Conference Finals this May.
