The Green Bay Packers were able to squeak out a tough road win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday afternoon to get to 6-2.
However, they did lose starting quarterback Jordan Love to a groin injury.
Head coach Matt LaFleur spoke to the Green Bay media Wednesday about the plan for Love ahead of a massive rivalry game with the Detroit Lions on tap this weekend.
“Just take it one day at a time and see where he’s at by the end of the week,” LaFleur said while confirming that Love didn’t practice Wednesday.

Love going down with yet another leg injury is not what Packers fans were hoping to see after he missed a couple of games earlier on with a knee injury.
However, the team does have an experienced backup in Malik Willis.
Willis has played in a total of four games this year and has started two of them.
The team is 3-1 in games where Willis plays.
The one loss came in Brazil to kick off the season when Willis came in for the final snap against the Philadelphia Eagles.
With Green Bay being one of the better rushing teams in the league, Willis has not had to do much besides complete the easy throws, scramble, and hand the ball off.
So far, he has a passer rating of over 130.0 and has proven that he can be trusted to lead Green Bay’s offense on any given Sunday.
If the Packers decide to keep Love out with a bye week on the horizon, it might not be the worst thing with Willis waiting in the wings.
