The Tennessee Titans are not exactly where they want to be at the moment.
They are sitting at a record of 1-4 and have not shown their ability to be consistent yet.
That is all part of the reason why former Pro Bowl safety Jamal Adams, who signed with Tennessee as a free agent this offseason, was just released.
According to insider Adam Schefter, the Titans honored the request of the former Jet and Seahawk Thursday by allowing him to look for his new opportunity elsewhere.

The 29-year-old is looking to win a Super Bowl, and the Titans seemingly are not close to achieving that.
A former All-Pro, Adams is likely hoping to latch on with a contender.
It will be interesting to see how many suitors the former LSU Tiger will have.
He has not played a full season since the 2018 season and hasn’t played in 10 or more games since the 2021 season.
The best season of his quality career came in 2018 when he recorded 115 total tackles, 12 pass deflections, and three forced fumbles.
Schefter also noted in his report that Adams is fully healthy, so that could be a good sign for him if he wants to join the best possible team that also wants him.
Adams can play multiple positions on the backend of a defense.
Yes, he is primarily a safety, but he was able to demonstrate his ability to come down and play in the box in Seattle.
His versatility and experience could be great assets to him and his next team.
