The Golden State Warriors need all hands on deck this season.
Klay Thompson is no longer there, which means there will be expanded opportunities for multiple players.
Whoever makes the most of them will most likely handle the bulk of the minutes, and, fortunately for the team, they have plenty of options.
Notably, Moses Moody has emerged as one of them.
Following their preseason win over the Los Angeles Lakers, Warriors coach Steve Kerr claimed that Moody was going to play a big role this season (via Anthony Slater).

Then again, he also said that multiple players will be in the mix, adding that it’s been a challenge for the coaching staff to determine how they’re going to play everybody.
Moody is entering his fourth season out of Arkansas.
He’s shown flashes of great play when given an opportunity, and there was a chance where he even seemed to be ahead of Jonathan Kuminga in playing time.
The Warriors also have Brandin Podziemski, who is expected to embrace a bigger role now that Thompson is not there anymore, but everything could be fluid in the Bay area depending on who’s got the hot hand.
Moody is eligible for an extension, and the team has always been very high on him, as they’ve often refused to include him in any trade talks.
That means he’s more than likely to get a deal done sooner rather than later.
The Warriors have been very patient with some of their young players, but they might need them to finally step up this season.
