The Philadelphia Eagles have been anything but consistent since their season-opening win on the road in Brazil against Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers, where superstar running back Saquon Barkley put on a show in his debut with the team scoring three touchdowns.
Since that win, the Eagles haven’t been able to put together back-to-back wins, as they have lost every other week, dropping games to the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Fortunately, the storied franchise is sporting a winning record after getting the best of the lowly Cleveland Browns in Week 6, with Philadelphia sitting at 3-2, which puts them behind the 4-2 Washington Commanders in the NFC East division standings.
On Sunday, the Eagles were struggling to put away a Browns team that has been one of the worst teams in the league this season, and it appears that head coach Nick Sirianni was getting some grief from Eagles fans in the stands at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, prompting him to fire back with some comments of his own as the game came to an end.
According to Tim McManus of ESPN, Sirianni regrets losing his cool like he did on Sunday and apologized for his actions on Monday during the team’s press conference.
“I am sorry and disappointed in how my energy was directed at the end of the game,” Sirianni said.

Philadelphia is one of the toughest cities in this country to be a head coach in any professional sport because the fans in the City of Brotherly Love have no problem expressing their feelings about their team struggling.
That said, Sirianni has to have thicker skin than this if he expects to remain the head coach for the foreseeable future because this won’t be the last time fans get on him.
