Centre John Tavares remained absent from Toronto Maple Leafs practice on Monday, with the former captain having already missed the team’s home opener on Saturday with an illness.
According to Lance Hornby of the Toronto Sun, goalie Joseph Woll was also absent, but did work out separately from the team. Woll was placed on injured reserve last Wednesday with a lower-body injury.
The Maple Leafs’ next game is Wednesday at home to the Los Angeles Kings (7:30 p.m. ET on Sportsnet), when Woll will be eligible to return.
