The Jacksonville Jaguars finally got off of their four-game slide by beating the rival Indianapolis Colts last Sunday.

They are now trying to climb out of what was an 0-4 hole, but they are going to have to do it without starting cornerback Tyson Campbell for the next few weeks.

According to the Jaguars’ social media page, Campbell was placed on the Reserve/Injured List but is designated to return.

He’ll be out for a little bit.

Trying to get out of an 0-4 hole is already tough, but it gets even tougher when you don’t have one of your most consistent players.

Campbell is one of head coach Doug Pederson’s best defenders on the backend.

Ever since he got drafted out of Georgia in the second round back in 2021, he has produced for the Jaguars.

Before this season, he recorded 60+ tackles in each of his first three seasons and also put up 30 total pass deflections in those three years combined.

He also played over 80% of the snaps on special teams as well through his first three seasons.

A do-it-all defender, Jacksonville is going to have to find a way to hold down the fort until he returns.

It is going to be up to the likes of Ronald Darby, Montaric Brown, Tre Flowers, and others to up their game while they wait for Campbell to come back.

Next up for the Jaguars on the schedule is the Chicago Bears, and that game will take place across the pond in London.

Afterward, they will stay in London for another week to face the New England Patriots.
