Can England and Bazball Conquer Pakistan One More Time?

England earned their first Test Series victory in Pakistan after 22 years in December 2022. Can they do it again with their big-hitting Bazballers? This Series is also part of the World Test Championship 2023-25. Nine nations battle it out against each other, home and away, for a place in the Final in June 2025.

He scored the fastest hundred for the England Lions in 71 balls against Sri Lanka A in Galle.

What sort of impression can he make on Pakistan’s flat wickets?

Here is Pakistan’s squad for the First Test:

Shan Masood (captain), Saud Shakeel (vice-captain), Aamir Jamal, Abdullah Shafique, Abrar Ahmed, Babar Azam, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Huraira, Mohammad Rizwan (wicket-keeper), Naseem Shah, Noman Ali, Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Sarfaraz Ahmed (wicket-keeper), and Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Looking to get amongst the run for the hosts is their Wicket-Keeper Batsman from Peshawar.

Rizwan, the Vice Captain of the T20 side, has been a prolific run scorer for Pakistan, with 3,313 runs at an average of 44.42.

He also has 1,910 Test runs at an average of 44.4, with three 100s and ten 50s.

The PCB(Pakistan Cricket Board) is considering him as a potential candidate to replace Babar Azam as the Captain of the T20 side.

Could this have an impact on how he performs in this Series?

Can England win another Series in Pakistan, or will the hosts get revenge?
