With superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers back under center for the New York Jets to start the 2024 NFL season, the storied franchise has a chance to be a legitimate Super Bowl title contender this year, as long as they can put it together on both sides of the football.

Heading into Week 4 against the Denver Broncos at MetLife Stadium, the Jets had won two straight games after dropping the season opener on the road to the San Francisco 49ers.

The Jets seemed to gain some momentum, as they made easy work of the division-rival New England Patriots in Week 3, but they were put to the test on Sunday against a formidable defense determined to make some noise this week.

The offensive line for the Jets had no answer for the Broncos’ pass rush, as Rodgers was under siege on every snap, which is never good with a 40-year-old quarterback coming off an Achilles injury under center.

After the loss to the Broncos, ESPN’s Mike Greenberg, an avid Jets fan, took to his X account to blast the team’s coaching staff, as he believes head coach Robert Saleh and his crew will be the team’s undoing.

Saleh has taken a lot of heat while being the head coach of the Jets, perhaps understandably, as he hasn’t done much to prove his worth while being the leader on the sideline in New York.

It’ll be interesting to see how things pan out for the Jets and whether Saleh’s job will be on the line moving forward, considering the high expectations this team has with Rodgers as their quarterback.
