After an incredible playing career in the NFL, during which he won a league-record seven Super Bowl titles with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, superstar quarterback Tom Brady called it a career at 45 years old ahead of the 2023 NFL season.

Brady’s retirement wasn’t all that surprising as he let it be known that he intended to play until 45 and then would walk away from the game that he loves, at least in terms of being a player on the field.

With Brady being as competitive as any player we’ve seen in the NFL, it’s not all that surprising that he’d try to challenge himself by embarking on another endeavor involving professional football.

Along with trying to become a part owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, Brady is trying his luck as a broadcaster for FOX Sports, which got off to a rocky start in Week 1, calling the game between the Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys.

Brady was heavily criticized for his first appearance as a broadcaster as he struggled to put it together in the broadcast booth, which is to be expected, as former players rarely get off to a hot start making the transition.

However, Brady might be starting to turn things around as he received high praise for how well he called the game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Buccaneers in Tampa Bay on Sunday, according to Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports.

Here are some fan reactions to Brady’s latest game called in the broadcast booth:

Ideally, Brady will follow in the footsteps of Troy Aikman and Tony Romo, but there’s also a chance he could flame out quickly like New Orleans Saints legend Drew Brees.
