The Miami Dolphins made the ultimate low-risk/high-reward pickup in the offseason.
They went after Odell Beckham Jr., who was coming off a down year with the Baltimore Ravens but still had the potential to be a prime reinforcement.
That hasn’t been the case thus far, as Beckham has yet to suit up for the team and hasn’t even practiced yet.
However, that’s about to change.
According to a report by NFL.com, the star wide receiver is expected to practice this week.

Beckham has been dealing with an undisclosed ailment since he joined the Dolphins.
He had a hard time finding a new team, and this might be his final chance to make an NFL roster.
As talented and athletic as he is, he’s struggled to stay healthy over the past three years or so.
The Ravens spent a lot of money to lure him away from the New York Jets, who were the frontrunners to get him, last season.
Even so, it became painfully evident that he might never be the same player again.
Still, the Dolphins are one of the few teams in the league that could legitimately take a chance on a player like him.
They don’t actually need him, as they have a prime wide receiver tandem with Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill.
Then again, if he’s able to give them anything or be at least half of the player he was in his prime, this could be exciting for Mike McDaniel’s explosive offense.
