The Kansas City Chiefs are 3-0 and look to be on track to pursuing their third consecutive Super Bowl title, which has never been accomplished in NFL history.
Through those three games, however, star tight end Travis Kelce has just eight catches for 69 yards.
Although some are worried about the 34-year-old’s lack of production, former Super Bowl champion Julian Edelman is not.
“I’m not really worried about Travis Kelce right now. … I guarantee, you know, [Patrick] Mahomes is looking at Travis saying, ‘Hey, man, I just need you in December, January,’” Edelman said recently on “GoJo and Golic.”

When a big-time pass-catcher such as Kelce, whose streak of seven consecutive 1,000-yard seasons ended last year, starts off the season slow, people do start to freak out.
However, those people should think about this: The Chiefs are still winning games.
Their best offensive player hasn’t even gotten going, which is a thought that should terrify the rest of the NFL.
By the time Kelce does return to form, the likes of Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy could be going on all cylinders.
The Chiefs are setting themselves up for a deep playoff run by winning games in ways that might not be pretty.
When they hit the later stages of the campaign, they could be the elite team the rest of the league has known them to be for a long time now.
It will be intriguing to see if Kelce’s numbers improve as the weeks go by.
