The Chicago Bears traded former first-round quarterback Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers earlier this offseason.

Now, the team is 3-0 thanks in large part to Fields taking over for the injured Russell Wilson and performing quite well.

While on teammate Cam Heyward’s Not Just Football Podcast, Fields recently made it clear who he thinks has the better coaching staff between Pittsburgh and Chicago.

“Pittsburgh. It’s not close,” Fields emphatically said.

Sometimes, all talented players need is a change of scenery to help them play better.

In Fields’ case, it is the change of scenery and the coaching improvement that has made him better than he was in Chicago.

Mike Tomlin has the advantage over Matt Eberflus because of his proven track record in this league.

He has helped the former Ohio State Buckeye produce a current completion percentage of over 73% and a solid passer rating of 95.3.

Offensive coordinator Arthur Smith has also done a great job of keeping Fields in line and taking care of the ball for the most part.

Currently, the Steelers are sitting all alone atop the AFC North with an unbeaten record.

If this team continues to use their physical formula to win games, it might get ugly for opposing teams when the weather turns.

Next up on Pittsburgh’s schedule is the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday afternoon on Indy.
