The Green Bay Packers’ season is alive and well.
After losing franchise quarterback Jordan Love to what looked like a scary lower-leg injury in Week One, young backup quarterback Malik Willis, who was acquired by Green Bay four weeks ago, has stepped in and guided the team to back-to-back wins.
Now, Green Bay is getting some good news on Love (MCL sprain) as he is progressing towards possibly playing in the near future.
According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, Love is practicing again this week.

What was once thought to be a season-ending injury for Love by a lot folks has turned out to be a less severe injury.
With him practicing again this week, could he finally return to game action this week against the rival Minnesota Vikings, who coincidentally are 3-0?
There has been no official word on that, but the fact that he is continuing to practice is great news for head coach Matt LaFleur and Co.
Speaking of LaFleur, he has done an exceptional job preparing this team each of the last two weeks.
Malik Willis has a passer rating of 122.7 and has completed almost 74% of his passes while with the Packers.
Most importantly, he has not turned the ball over and made the right decisions through the air.
Against both the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans, Green Bay dominated the time of possession, played outstanding defense, and overpowered them on the ground.
Regardless if Love returns or not this weekend, what LaFleur, Willis, and this Green Bay team has done these last few weeks is nothing short of remarkable.
