PlayStation fans may want to try to grab a half hour on Tuesday to get caught up on what’s coming to the console. Sony said in a Monday blog post that its live game-update show, State of Play, will air Sept. 24 at 3 p.m. PT (6 p.m. ET, 11 p.m. BST, 8 a.m. AEST). Gamers can tune in via either YouTube or Twitch, and State of Play will be broadcast in English and Japanese.
Sony isn’t yet saying exactly what games will be discussed, but a teasing line in the blog post urges interested fans to “tune in live for news and updates on more than 20 upcoming PS5 and PS VR2 games from studios around the world.”
There are hopes that Sony will say something about Uncharted 5, or at least announce some form of Astro Bot DLC. Recent industry rumblings have been hinting at PS5 remasters of PS4 games Horizon: Zero Dawn and Days Gone. And as always, gamers are begging for PlayStation to address the demands for a 60 fps update to Bloodborne.
