The Atlanta Falcons were coming off an emotional, last-second comeback win in primetime, and they were in a position to do the same again on Sunday night.
However, some questionable play-calling ruined their chances.
Facing 4th-and-inches and in the redzone, they decided to run outside instead and were stopped.
That’s why former NFL QB Robert Griffin III took to X to call them out over that questionable decision, stating that it just didn’t make any sense.
There is no reason for the Atlanta Falcons to not QB sneak their on 4th and inches. Have all those RBs push your QB forward for a first down. Running side ways when you need an inch makes ZERO SENSE.

Truth be told, it’s very difficult to understand their reasoning.
Kirk Cousins has never been an overly aggressive quarterback or a mobile one, and he’s coming off a season-ending injury, so perhaps they were trying to protect him.
But even if that were the case, they still had Michael Penix Jr. to sub in for him for that play.
It’s been hard to judge Raheem Morris’ Falcons after three weeks, but they seem to be trending in the right direction.
They took the Chiefs down to the wire, and it looks like the season-opening loss was a case of the jitters and some rust.
Even so, they must win these games if they want to sit at the contenders’ table; these are mistakes you just can’t afford to make.
