The Philadelphia Eagles ended up losing a heartbreaker to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night after leading in the final minute.
Understandably so, quarterback Jalen Hurts showed some emotion on the field during the game and was asked about that on Wednesday.
“I wanted the stadium to feel me,” the Pro-Bowler said (via Eliot Shorr-Parks).

The Eagles were a Saquon Barkley first-down reception away from sealing the game.
Instead, the prized free agent running back dropped the pass, which allowed Kirk Cousins and the Falcons a chance to go down and eventually take the lead.
Hurts tried to rally the team and the fans as best he could, but it simply wasn’t good enough to save them.
As always in Philadelphia, it feels like there is always drama.
The team started off the season with a big win in Brazil over a contending Packers team and had a chance to start off 2-0 by possibly beating an ascending Falcons team.
They failed to do that and are now in a logjam of 1-1 teams in the NFC.
Now, head coach Nick Sirianni, Hurts, and Co. cannot afford to sulk as they have a tough schedule coming up.
They will face the seemingly electric New Orleans Saints next week on the road before heading to face a tough Tampa Bay Bucs team the following week.
If they want to contend for a Super Bowl this year, they have to be better at closing out games.
That is something that could come back to bite them later on if they are not careful.
