The New Orleans Saints were often overlooked this offseason after their tough 2023 NFL season where they were expected to win the NFC South but wound up missing the postseason entirely instead.

New Orleans’ offense was a massive disappointment given the talent and weapons on the roster featuring Alvin Kamara, Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed and Derek Carr.

To address their offensive woes, the Saints brought in Klint Kubiak to serve as their new offensive coordinator.

Kubiak has 14 years of experience and spent the 2023 NFL season with the San Francisco 49ers as their offensive passing game specialist.

Kubiak’s influence on the offensive game plan has already bore fruit as New Orleans looks like a much more cohesive unit on that side of the field.

After the Saints blew out the Dallas Cowboys on the road, Jason Kelce couldn’t help but offer up his honest thoughts on the team via his personal X account.

“Man, the Saints looking pretty d*** impressive 2 weeks in…” Kelce posted.

Kelce played in the NFL for a long time and knows a good team when he sees one, and so far it looks like New Orleans may be the team that surprises the league this year.

Defensively, the Saints are great up front at generating pressure but it truly is the offense that is going to get this team to the playoffs if they keep it up.

It’s only been two weeks, but it’s hard not to come away impressed with how the Saints have looked and it’ll be interesting to see just how far they can go this season.
